Founded on scientifically verified ecological knowledge and represented by the Eco-Ethics International Union (EEIU), the concept of eco-ethics is spreading around the globe. Currently operating in over 80 countries, the Union is attracting growing numbers of affiliates.



More and more people realise that humankind proceeds in dangerous, potentially even lethal, directions. The EEIU attempts to assist in correcting the course, to build a new house for humanity and to secure the future of our species and its ecological support systems.



Aims:



Eco-ethics differ from historical ethics. The roots of eco-ethics are not revelation, faith and philosophy, but scientific research, knowledge and compatibility between nature and humanity. The subjects of eco-ethics are not single species but co-existing different forms of life and their environments.
