Permaculture International Limited [PIL] provides services to members in support of their work in permaculture design and permaculture related activities.

As a non-profit organization, we depend on your membership to survive.

All proceeds go towards permaculture networking, information services and associated projects.

Mission Statement

The mission statement of Permaculture International Limited is to be a powerful agent for social change towards sustainable, ethical and cooperative society.

We provide our members and the public with the resources to better Care for People who Care for the Earth. We offer positive alternatives to local and global problems.

This is achieved through:

• Good customer service & relevant information
• Global networking
• An effective & informative web site
• Sponsorship of permaculture & related projects
• Promotion of permaculture & educational resources
• consolidate staffing and update technology base at the PIL office

Services

Services provided by PIL include:

• great customer service ~ members are the reason we`re here
• a point of contact & referral for the general public & the media
• networking of PIL members for the exchange of information & ideas; to offer & obtain assistance; to provide notification about events & training opportunities; & to create a sense of common purpose `to care`
• promotion of permaculture as a credible design system via a Newsletter & discussion groups & website
• liaison with community organisations, government, business, development aid, other organisations & individuals
• referral to members of people seeking a permaculture designer / consultant
• collection and disbursement of tax-deductible funds collected through PermaFund & donations received from Permaworld & individuals.

Permafund Grants 2009

Grants are open now for 2009. Applications due date Friday 22 May, 2009.  All applications will be assessed, and applicants will be advised if they are successful as soon as possible.
