About  [Edit]

Vision

EAB/Living Green is a service club dedicated to providing access to credible information about our local environment. We may initiate new, innovative green projects, which we hope will be carried on by others. We are not interested in staff or bricks and mortar; we are here to promote a safe and healthy environment.

Mission

EAB/Living Green promotes a safe and healthy environment for our community by:

providing access to credible environmental information,

leading the community by example, and

researching and initiating new ways to help our community Live Green

Environmental Action Barrie [EAB] was formed as a not-for-profit corporation in 1991 by a group of Barrie residents to:

promote measures and perspectives to increase public awareness of environmental issues and to further solutions to environmental problems,

to educate all persons so that informed and environmentally wise lifestyle and consumer choices can be made, and

to operate a recycling depot to recycle items not collected by the municipality.
