About [Edit]
We leverage universities around the world focused on social entrepreneurship, as "in country" chapters in tandem with successful entrepreneurs to provide on the ground assistance and education on how to expand their sales and operational capability to new geographic areas. Student teams, parntering with local organizations, university faculty, industry mentors, NGOs, and potential investors, etc. in their respective countries, assist participating entrepreneurs with assessing market opportunities and proposing market entry activities for the entrepreneur's products and services. In addition, a "loan fund" is available to be used as a source of capital for client entrepreneurs.
The OWOB chapter in the initiating country identifies a business opportunity. Once the opportunity is identified, a business plan would be developed and reviewed. At this point, the OWOB chapter in the target country closest to the entry market would be brought in along with their network of resources. Together, the business plan would be reviewed and changes made if necessary. The target country chapter would help secure funding for the business expansion. After funding is received, the target country chapter would then help the implementation by providing consulting and assistance in establishing partnerships with partner entities. Both the initiating and target chapters would be available to help throughout the entire business cycle.
