Ocean Beach Community Development Corporation is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to housing affordability, economic opportunities for local residents and businesses, and the enhancement of O.B.'s unique character with respect for the environment.
The Ocean Beach CDC was started in 1993 by a group of concerned local OB residents and business people. The objective was to provide a nonprofit organization to develop resources for revitalizing the community infrastructure and supporting community development with the OB spirit.
After more than a decade of successful projects and with community support the OBCDC is an integral part of Ocean Beach.
The OBCDC works with government, private foundations and individual donors and members to create and coordinate resources for revitalization projects to benefit the community.
