Chatham Conservation Foundation mission is to acquire, by gift or purchase, the fee or lesser interests in land, to be held and managed in conservation in perpetuity; to preserve and protect the quality of fresh and salt water, environmental integrity, and visual quality of the landscape and historic sites; and to promote public awareness of the long-term benefits of land conservation to the benefit of the inhabitants of Chatham.
