Sustainable Development International exists to provide unique publishing services for business to raise awareness about CSR in practice to influence effective sustainable development policy. Sustainable Development International's competitive advantage lies in its strategic link between sustainable development policy and CSR practice. As the former focuses on implementation, expectation and scrutiny of the later will increase. The strategic direction of Sustainable Development International is defined by its ability to meet this demand.Sustainable Development International provides up-to-date reporting coverage on key sustainable development processes and issues, with a strategic focus on the follow-up to, and implementation of, the World Summit on Sustainable Development, and the UN Millennium Development Goals as well as on latest developments from the CSR sector.

These issues will be prioritised by the international sustainabledevelopment agenda over the next 2 years, in review following the WSSD, as well as in assessment towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals. In addition, they have been grouped to target key business sectors where CSR practice is able to make significant contributions towards implementation Ð both as a business opportunity and in terms of responsible practice.
In addition Sustainable Development International will provide the latest information on current CSR practice in relation to market initiatives, regulation, voluntary codes of conduct, international standards and reporting mechanisms.
Sustainable Development International provides a physical presence at key events associated to these processes, including high-level UN conferences, Intergovernmental meetings, and international business platforms. Sustainable Development International has a targeted distribution to: senior government decision makers; business leaders; key stakeholder organizations including NGOs, Trade Unions, and Local Government.
