Living Waters for the World trains and equips volunteer mission teams to install affordable appropriate-technology water treatment systems in areas where the available water is contaminated, and to educate those communities about the clean water and healthy hygiene practices.  Our ministry is always conducted in covenant relationship with the community that will have the clean water system; that covenant relationship extends over a period of not less than three years.

Mission teams who participate in this ministry must be trained at one of two training sites, one in Oxford, MS, the other in Oakhurst, CA.  Trainees learn one of three skills: 1.) how to analyze the water, create the covenant, and lead the mission team; 2.) how to teach users to install, operate and maintain the equipment; 3.) how to teach a group of community leaders to educate their community about the appropriate use of clean water and the importance of handwashing and good hygiene.  Over 800 students have now been trained to conduct this ministry.
