About  [Edit]

The Green Lifestyle Film Festival was founded by Dorit of Serenity Spaces.org to use the powerful  medium of films to create real shifts in consciousness and  the ensuing behaviour. which  such shifts can give rise to.

This annual  international film festival ,which started out as the Raw Lifestyle Film Festival,  is held annually in  March  in Los Angeles, California, USA.

In  2008  the film festival was incorporated as a non profit 501 (c) 3 corporation and is funded by donations from individuals and companies or by sponsorship of the  film festival and its projects.

The next Green Lifestyle Film Festival   isfrom the  13th-15th March 2009 and the  theme is:
Native People's Cultures as mainstays of the Environmental Movement.

There is also a Teen/pre-teen Project aimed at bringing the voices of children on film and, with enough sponsorship, going to children lost in violence and abuse and teaching them to get their stories told through film, while making the connection (on film ) to their own personal experiences and how this is mirrored in the environmental issues w are all facing now, wth the  focus being on  offering solutions.

The Green Lifestyle Film Festival started as the vision and constant , day to day , arduous work of one person  working long hours to make it a reality. It has grown into 7 more dedicated team members and we welcome those who are willing to let go of instant ego needs who wish to work with us to change the way that films are used to impact our society.

This film festival examines sustainability on all levels and offers day to day solutions ( on  film). It is a celebration of  Planet Earth, truly green cuisine, music, movement  and  extraordinary filmmakers  whose films uplift and inspire us all to live a life of excellence.
