Ekostaden.com means Eco-city and it's your portal to environmental focus projects in Malmö, Sweden. The purpose of Ekostaden.com is to communicate the transformation of Malmö, Sweden into ecological and social sustainability.

Ekostaden_greenBo01 - City of Tomorrow is an entirely new district in the Western Harbour with room for 600 dwellings as well as offices, shops and other services. The aim is for the district to be an internationally leading example of environmental adaptation of a densely built urban environment. It will also be a driving force in Malmö's development towards environmental sustainability. Bo01 is the first development stage of Västra Hamnen (The Western harbour) one of Malmö´s growth areas of the futureEkostaden_solar.

Augustenborg - is the collective name for a programme to make Augustenborg into a more socially, economically and environmentally sustainable neighbourhood. Ekostaden Augustenborg, one of Sweden´s largest urban sustainability projects, was supported by the government´s Local Investment Programme and also financed by key local partners within Malmö City and the MKB housing company.

Ekostaden_transportEkostaden is working within the residential area of Augustenborg in Malmö, Sweden, as well as with the school, industrial area and other local businesses.
