The mission of the Straw Bale Association of Texas is to provide information and resources that promote the art of straw bale construction as a means toward sustainability for all species.The Straw Bale Association of Texas is dedicated to promoting straw bale construction in Texas. The group is based in Austin, but is a focal point for straw bale building activity across the state. SBAT provides education services through programs, site visits, media, exhibits, video showings, and special events. Members frequently conduct workshops and presentations. SBAT encourages members as well as specialist to share their wealth of expertise with one another.
