Green Planet Films seeks to preserve and protect our planet by educating the public about the science and beauty of the natural world. We envision a sustainable world, a world rich in biodiversity, in which people understand and appreciate the complexity and magnificence of the earth and all its inhabitants.



To turn our vision into reality, we aim to create and maintain a comprehensive library of environmental, nature, and conservation films, and to make these powerful visual programs readily available in DVD format for Members to purchase, or select online, then view and return at cost.



We support producers by providing a new outlet and new audiences for their work. We support the public by meeting the growing demand for informative and compelling environmental programs. And we support the health of the earth by increasing awareness of its resilience and its fragility.



Green Planet Films provides critical links between the producers of environmental films and their viewers, between information and understanding. Green Planet Films puts the tools for education, outreach, and advocacy into the hands of the people with the power to foster change: the people of this planet.
