About  [Edit]

our mission:

To promote and sustain the natural, social and economic assets of our healing island community.

To shape an international model of integrated health and well being that supports mind, body, spirit, nature and community.

To stimulate sustaining sources of economic vitality.

To establish the Big Island as an international destination for health and healing.

At Five Mountains Hawaii, we work to help our community become a healthier place to live, work, play and raise strong families. We accomplish this by collaborating with others to clarify community priorities and goals, as well as to identify resources. We believe that community dialog and collaboration are essential to realize the vision of a healthy, sustainable community.

We strive to preserve the community’s values, including living aloha, ohana and a total sense of place by recognizing and appreciating the island’s exceptional beauty, healing energy and strong spirituality.
