The SOFA " SCHOOLOF FINE ART’ is a non govt.organisation (NGO)It is dedicated to ART ,CULTURE,EDUCATION , SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT .It has the mandate to support sustainable development through skill upliftment training in order to reduce poverty and eradicate economic disparity ,equal opportunity to all regarding education. service and total health to contribute to a more secure, equitable and prosperous eco-friendly world. We strife to make the world more beautiful more safer more healthier and happier place for all living beings of our time as well as for the posterity. Art is the genesis of all these IDEA.

AREA OF ACTIVITIES and TRAINING—Fine art, applied art, commercial art, { pottery designing ,textile designing, tribal art, sand art{only in puri} ,photoshop,DTP.corel draw, page making,tanjore painting, screen printing, portrait making, oil painting, wall writing etc)
WE BELIEVE—Art play one of the most important role in the growth of the child’s personality .Artistic creativity is an essential step in the direction of full development of personality. The atmosphere of tension and conflicts in the world could be due to ignorance about the essence and the essentiality of art in life. There should be provision for art education for everyone in the society .No creative person who has ever picked up a brush, or guitar becomes a terrorist or extremist. If the tendency of likeness towards art goes on increasing there will be peace and growth everywhere.
HUMAN RIGHT--- The organization is creating awareness against HUMAN RIGHT VIOLATION. In an Artistic style we protest wherever there is such incidence came in to our knowledge. May it be child labors, atrocity against women or against SC/ST. (photo)
MISSION --Art is a genuine vision of liberated consciousness’ exploding in colors of joy and form of freedom. Yet again a new dimension lie before us where art becomes part and parcel of a commonly shared SATYAM SHIVAM SUNDARAM. This principle is meaningless if art and artist live in poverty and a gloomy state of affairs. Art loose its existence if it will not serve its creator. So our mission is to provide all sort of know how to the students to ear n through art for sustainable economic growth. Art has widespread scope in this modern era. Extending its scope so that people take advantage of its importance and social requirement.
VISION-poverty is the budge word of Indian society. In Bargarh district
62% of its total population as per the 2005 census conducted by the govt. lives under poverty line though it Lead in crop production in the state and called as the BHATA HANDI OF ORISSA .In nearly 13 laks 76 thousands population the following category of people plays a vital role in the development of the district. Our intention is to develop skill in different human recourses. No skill worker is unemployed. He or she find out their income sources easily. In this world there is always a dearth of skilled worker .By giving proper training we like to improve the economic sustainability and living standard of poor ,unemployed,women ,handicapped,sc/st and other backward classes of the society.

}To keep the unity mutual cooperation and understanding among the male and children of the locality , different community organization has been developed such as Village Development Committee ( VDC) , Women Development Committee (WDC), and SHG simultaneously diff. voluntary agencies, developmental organization , institution and individual functioning on state and national level.
b) To aware on health, sanitation, safe drinking water. Safe guard of forest, protection of cultivation, plantation, soil conservation, implement of Bio- gas plant. To aware on basic legal points and human rights to the poor people in order to protect from justice and to promote early child education, adult education, non- formal education, enrollment and promote primary literacy.
c) To strengthen Self Help Group (SHG) of women and men and to special knowledge of cottage industries and diff. income generation programme for sustainable economic development. To undertake relief measure in aid to distress people affected by riots, flood, famines, focus epidemics, droughts, and in other natural calamities.
d) To promote and empower the village leaders and providing diff. training for gaining knowledge and skill.
e) To take steps on issue-based activities like land, water, forest, NTFP, child labour and other emerging problems through rally, campaign meeting etc.
f) To take steps to provide food, shelter, drinking water, sanitation and clothes for the needy people through the people.
g) To facilitate to develop the Village Micro Level plan.
h) To initiate prevention measures of alcoholism, HIV/AIDS, and superstition.
i) To promote, organize, guide and undertake activities for development of women and children. To prevent dowry system & other problems for their rightful position in the society.
j) To assist, guide, organize and undertake all activities connected with the sustainable integrated development of the society through various initiatives.

l) Our prime motto is to strengthen the farmers for a sustainable agricultural practice, promotion of seed bank; gene bank and conservation measures will be another aspect to develop agriculture. Watershed activities and agro-horticultural activities will promote farmers for sustainable development. exploitation.
To organize health awareness camp, detecting diseases and prevention, i immunization programme, family planning and pulse polio programme at rural areas.
RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS ENVIRONMENT—
POLUTION FREE WORLD=----- The organization committed to work for a pollution free world. We have planted successfully made 3400 sibling in to big trees so far in the district of BARGARH,SONEPUR, SAMBALPUR, BOLANGIR.THE Theme of the programmed is ‘PLANT A TREE IN MEMORY OF YOUR ANCESSTORS’. It has gain widespread response around the world .Even president Bill Clinton has appreciated our creative ideas in environmental protection. We thanks him for his letter of appreciation and we promise to include his ideas within our programmed in reducing global warming. We have started motivating people in the following points.
1-USE OF CFL BULB.
2-CARRY A COTTON AND ECO FRIENDLY BAG WHEN OUTING OR TO MARKET.
3- NOT TO BRING ANYTHING BY POLYTHENE BAGS.
4- USE OF CYCLE ATLEAST ONECE IN A WEEK.
5- CONVINCING PEOPLE NO TO BE IMPULSIVE BUYER.
6-CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSES BY ECOFRIENDLY MATERIALS.
7-CONVINCING PEOPLE TO CONSTRUCT AND LIVE IN INDIAN TRADITIONAL MUD HOUSE AS FAR AS POSSIBLE. IT HAS THEQUALITY OF RELEASING HEAT RATHER THAN ABSERVING.IT IS
WARM IN WINTER AND COOL IN SUMMER

9-RESERVATION OF RAIN WATER.
Future climate could well deny to general public the access to basic necessities like drinking water in times to come. The report of the International panel on climate change (IPCC) have made it clear that climate change is happening largely because of HUMAN ACTIVITIES and we support it. It is a matter of great concern which affects us all and which we need to address together by creating awareness amongst people to reduce the need of the daily uses.
- URGES -
We urges the international communities basically developed and developing countries to reduce their greenhouse gas emission and increase international co-operation that must cover adaptation measure against the adverse consequences of climate change which has already taken place.. This is an objective as critical as urgent in importance as mitigation. The organization support the (UNFCCC) UN framework convention on climate change KYOTO PROTOCOL OF 1997 and the UN’s climate change convention at BALI -2007.
Scientist have already observed a warming trend .The concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has risen sharply thus rising the average temperature at which the balance between incoming solar radiation and the outgoing infrared radiation is realized.
The change is due in large part to the consequences of human action and not due to NATURAL CAUSES. We must also recognize that
one way or other we will be living in a CARBON CONCENTRATED WORLD. Climate change is a threat not just to our environment but also to our growth and development. Current assessment suggest that LOSS TO HUMAN WELFARE FROM CLIMATE CHANGE IS GREATER THAN THE COST OF MEASURES TO MITIGATE THE RISK.
WE the member of school of fine art not only paint and create beautiful paintings but also like to see the world beautiful in its totality. SMALL CHANGES ARE BIG VICTORY .within our small brain and small resources. We would like to make a small change , that will be more beautiful than ever before that could be acceptable to all.
