About  [Edit]

The Yoga Farm offers visitors a truly unique traveling experience, we are a simple quiet peaceful retreat facility with basic comforts, we are not a spa. We are a destination for those who want to visit a location that offers pristine virgin rain forest and clean beaches with few people on it, except for the occasional local Costa Rican fishing and a few visitors. One advantage of the area is that it has little night life and shopping, rather it offers the opportunity to go for hikes in the rain forest, horse back trips, cultural visits with indigenous families where they can learn traditional indigenous crafts and see beautiful wildlife. You will find our facility to be simple, clean and comfortable.

The Yoga Farm is also dedicated to wildlife conservation research and rehabilitation. We currently sponsor a Spider Monkey research project in order to study this endangered primate with hopes to restore the population of this primate back to healthy numbers. The Yoga Farm is also working to expand our conservation work to help restore other species and habitats. The Yoga Farm is also a working farm, working daily towards self sufficiency. So you will also be in a place that has people working on our gardens, grounds and buildings.

Our goal is to become fully self-sufficient as a way to support long-term community by:

Futher developing organic food production on the land through several techniques including permaculture. The food production plan includes an aquaculture pond, greenhouses, planting more fruit trees, vegetable gardens, etc.

Exploring cottage industries that can produce income such as craft production.

Hosting retreats.
