Africa Solidarity Centre is an independent voluntary membership organisation taht is committed to supporting African immigrants and the promotion of Africa-Ireland links. The organisation's focus centres on five broad areas:
* Development Education
* Community Development
* Solidarity and Campaign
* Africa-Ireland Links
* Social and Cultural Activities
PRINCIPAL OBJECTS
* To reach-out to African immigrants and to promote harmonious relations among them and the society at large;
* To facilitate and promote the intergration and adaptation of African immigrants in Ireland;
* To advance public eduction and knowledge on economic, political, cultural, social and environmental issues relating to Africa;
* To promote and advance community development projects to alleviate poverty and improve living conditions of African immigrants in Ireland;
* To promote links between Ireland and Africa and advance exchange, cooperation, partnership and dialogue;
* To establish links with persons and bodies involved with development issues or those working with African students, refugees, asylum seekers, migrant wokers, African spouses of Irish and other EU citizens or with any other categories of African immigrants.
