About  [Edit]

We are committed to the creation of a quadruple bottom line eco-village on the Blackall Ranges in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland around Montville / Maleny. The first of the bottom lines is spiritual/cultural/interpersonal sustainability; that is the guiding principle is raising the consciousness of ourselves, our community and the wider community. Non-denominational and non-dogmatic, we aim to support each other and the wider community through a recognition that every soul is precious.

The second bottom line is environmental/ecological sustainability, including renewable energy, own water supply and treatment systems, organic/biodynamic food production, simple house designs and shared resources and spaces. The third is socially sustainable, inclusive of all ages, spiritual and sexual orientations. Important is creating a "safe" environment, including processes that allow mistakes and learning opportunities and sharing of resources, works, tools, food and our lives.
The fourth is economic sustainability, with the inclusion of sustainable green business enterprises, both private and community run, in conjunction with local, non-monetary currency.

We are currently in our planning stages and welcome input, questions, contributions and offer the same in return.
