About [Edit]
Starflower Foundation assists creation, rehabilitation and stewardship of Pacific Northwest native plant communities by supporting citizen-driven restoration and education projects that inspire understanding, appreciation and preservation of Pacific Northwest native ecosystems, with humans as an integral part of these ecosystems.
Starflower Foundation provides grants in the form of in-kind donations of goods and technical assistance to qualifying community groups that initiate high-quality native-plant restoration/education projects, primarily on public land in Seattle. Restoration/education projects are often multi-year collaborations among community and school groups, a public land-owner, volunteer organizations, for-profit organizations, other charitable organizations, and various experts. Starflower was founded in 1996.
