About [Edit]
Global
Trade Watch is an Australian organisation which monitors the social and environmental impacts of the global trading system and advocates for fair and environmentally sustainable trading systems.
Our work has two main focuses:
- The social and environmental impacts of "free trade" and "free trade agreements" (FTAs), including multilateral (eg: WTO), regional (eg: APEC) and bilateral (eg: the Australia-US FTA) agreements.
- The social and environmental impacts of multinational corporations, including Australian corporations operating here and internationally, and global corporations operating in Australia. This work is through our www.corporatewatch.org.au website.
