Permacouture Institute encourages and implements ecological design practices for textiles and fashion.  With the huge impact that the fashion and textile industry plays in environmental degradation, we research regenerative design methods and offer education in creative reuse, viable organic alternatives and systems thinking. Permacouture Institute also develops projects that build curriculum for public school and community gardens, and insures seed saving programs for fibers and dyes. Our goal is to expand our cultural eco-literacy and to cultivate innovative design.
