About  [Edit]

"Students and Educators for Ecological Design and Sustainability"

Mission:

S.E.E.D.S. is a non-profit University of Georgia organization made up of students, faculty and other members of the campus community who are interested in applying principles of ecological design and sustainability to our campus and the surrounding community. S.E.E.D.S. was founded in February 2000 as a means for collaboration among future members of the new College of Environment and Design (students and faculty from the School of Environmental Design and the Institute of Ecology). The organization meets to work on current projects as well as discuss important sustainability issues in the Athens area.
