About Us

Asthma Foundation NSW aims to enhance the lifestyle, health and wellbeing of people with asthma through information, education, advocacy, research and community programs. Understanding the needs of people with asthma shapes our work, and our consumer focus and asthma expertise have been a source of reassurance to people with asthma and their families since the1960s.

Asthma Foundation NSW is an independent not-for-profit organisation that relies on community support to positively impact the quality of life of the 800,000 people with asthma in NSW by: changing community attitudes and actions; building knowledge through research and education; advocating needs, and; creating an asthma friendly world.

We offer comprehensive information, education and training about asthma, specialist expertise in managing asthma, and a range of programs to create asthma friendly communities.

Our staff work in close association with medical and health professionals, government and other asthma organisations. Together we deliver programs and services which meet the needs of 800,000 people with asthma across NSW.
