The Kootenai Environmental Alliance's mission is to maintain, protect and improve the environmental quality of the Idaho panhandle. Its objectives are to coordinate activities and groups interested and involved in environmental quality to provide an effective cooperative effort, to carry on an environmental information and education program, to serve as a citizen's lobby on environmental issues and to take effective action to promote the purpose of the organization, including legal action when necessary.
