Asante Sana!
On behalf of our Board, staff, partner organizations and the 49,874 African people given a chance at self-sufficiency in 2006, we would like to say Asante Sana (Thank you in Swahili)!
Asante Sana to our many generous donors and supporters who made it possible for Bread & Water for Africa to provide $516,619.00 in grant funding to sixteen African partner organizations in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Somalia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Sierra Leone who provided primary health care, education, food security and food self-sufficiency programs, vocational and literacy training, micro-credit programs, clean water and orphan care to 49,874 African people who needed our help.
With your continued support and the continued dedication of our African partners we look to 2007 as the dawning of a new day of health, education and self-sufficiency for African children and their families.
We wish you, your families and your communities all our best for peace, happiness and proseprtiy in 2007. Happy New Year and Asante Sana!
