WASTE is an adviser for development projects in countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. WASTE aims at sustainable improvement of the urban environment and improvement of the living conditions of the low-income population.

Although WASTE has expert knowledge on domestic solid and liquid waste management and sanitation issues, we prefer to form alliances with other agencies and companies.

For this reason WASTE co-founded the SURCO Consortium with like-minded organisations.

Other alliances are with IRC (International Water and Sanitation Centre) and with UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft. With both organisations WASTE has an agreement on working together in the field of information sharing and training.
