Permaculture Cairns Inc. is a dynamic non-profit organization run by volunteer members who are passionate about achieving healthier and more sustainable lifestyles through Permaculture design and sustainable living practices.

We have ten public meetings each year, from February to November, with guest speakers. In December we hold our AGM and have an end-of-year gathering.

Permaculture Cairns attracts members who want to spread awareness about Permaculture to communities and who enjoy sharing knowledge and skills. Most members are practicing Permaculture

to some extent. Some are qualified permaculturists. We welcome like-minded people who are interested in learning and sharing more about Permaculture.

The group co-ordinates outside events.We are now developing seven PC Teams — Communications, Crafts, Education, Fundraising, Gardens, Policy, Shows. All members can take part in the activities of the team that suits their interests.
