Birds Korea is the national and international network dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats in South Korea and the broader Yellow Sea Eco-region



With concern for the environment growing rapidly throughout the region, Birds Korea is a positive response to the growing concern for the environment being expressed throughout the region. Although there are several respected groups working in South Korea for wetlands and for the promotion of birdwatching and birds, there is no nationwide organisation yet fully dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats



Birds Korea aims long-term to help solve this unique combination of regional factors, greatly increasing opportunities for bird conservation throughout the Eco-region.
