About [Edit]
Wildplant Rescue Service aims to make Australia a better place to live - for both people and the indigenous flora and fauna that inhabit this land.
Its mission is to conserve and promote genetic biodiversity through a permanent community network that actively contributes to the protection of the local, living environment.
The philosophy of BWRS is underpinned by a series of practical objectives including:
- Raising awareness and understanding of the importance of local wildplants;
- Minimising the loss of wildplant diversity resulting from ongoing development; and
- Providing communities with a dependable supply of locally sourced wildplants.
The goal of BMWRS is to act on behalf of the remarkable local native plant communities and species.
The Wildplant Rescue Service aims to establish the Australian garden as a key contributor to the preservation of local biodiversity.
