Engineers Without Borders promotes human development through access to
technology.
Member groups work towards improving the quality of life of disadvantaged
communities worldwide through education and implementation of sustainable
engineering projects, while promoting new dimensions of experience for
engineers, engineering students, and similarly motivated non-engineers.
Vision
The Engineers Without Borders - International network members contribute to
capacity building in new and ongoing development projects around the world
and at the same time promote the dimensions of experience for emerging and
practicing engineers.
The outward vision of Engineers Without Borders - International is of a
world where ALL people have access to the knowledge and resources with which
to meet their basic human needs and promote sustainable development in such
areas as water supply and sanitation, food production and processing,
housing and construction, energy, transportation and communication, income
generation, and employment creation.
