Broederlijk Delen is an NGO that gives local groups in the South the opportunity to realise their own plans.



Broederlijk Delen focuses on the issues of the South. Starting with the existing initiatives already in place and by supporting new opportunities that grow in the field, Broederlijk Delen assists people in the South to take control of their own situation. Community support is essential to the success of our activities. When people cooperate results are achieved, which is why Broederlijk Delen focuses on the social aspect of development i.e. sustainable development should take place in a community.



The Broederlijk Delen logo reflects our positive attitude. We believe that with our support, people in the South can plan their own future. We believe that change is possible. The spherical shape in our logo refers to the earth, the arrows to interchange and dialogue, the cross to our Christian inspiration and green is the colour of hope and growth. With our support the South can grow.



Our logo is accompanied by the slogan ‘because the South has plans’. These five words express our world view and reflect the essence or our approach. Broederlijk Delen doesn’t set up projects in the South. Our partners don’t realise our plans, but their own. Sustainable changes come from the choices, possibilities and experiences that are present.
