About  [Edit]

The mission of CAUPS Foundation is to support women in the transition process to democratic society and market economy; to encourage women to take more active part in public and economic life; to promot sustainable social and economic development with full participation of women. Our Foundation promotes the civil, economic and social rights of girls and women as found in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and other international conventions. It advocates for equal opportunities for women and men in respect to rights, responsibilities, access to resources, to education and to decision-making in the family as well as in the social and economic life of the country. It facilitates the exchange of skills, experiences and ideas among groups working to promote the more active and equitable role of women in a sustainable development process and the protection of the enviroment.
