The Human Righs Students' Initiative (HRSI) is a human rights organization comprised of students and alumni of Central European University (CEU). It was founded in 1999 by the students of the CEU Human Rights Program.



Our Mission: To participate in the promotion of human rights worldwide and to provide the students from various CEU departments with practical experience in human rights by initiating and sustaining active advocacy projects, training and volunteering opportunities



To achieve its mission HRSI has established the following goals:



· to provide practice, experience and training in human rights and related issues



· to raise awareness on human rights and participating in community service



· to network within the community of human rights professionals.
