The Environmental Forum of Marin is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the environment by educating its Members and the Marin citizenry about environmental issues. In furtherance of this purpose, the goal of EFM is to conduct training programs on environmental issues, provide continuing education for its Members and the public, and influence decision-making.
VISION :
The Environmental Forum of Marin presents
"Toward a Sustainable Marin"
a series of workshops for business and community leaders and their staff.
Sustainability is a key component of the Marin County Countywide Plan.
The concept of sustainability presents us with the challenge to pass on to our grandchildren a world in which human use of natural resources is in balance with nature`s ability to replenish those resources.
