Citizens for Election Reform (CFER) was created in 2004 by four Connecticut friends who decided to do more than just complain about the mess our elections system is in
MISSION STATEMENT
- To promote a fairer election system;
- To increase voter participation;
- To make the election process simpler, more uniform, free of bias and fraud;
- To reduce the pernicious influence of money over legislation and regulation;
- To encourage more qualified citizens to aspire to public office;
- To fund our activities entirely through donations from individuals and foundations.
