Tusweca Tiospaye is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is devoted to the promotion and strengthening of the Lakota language on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, home of the Oglala Sioux (Lakota) Tribe.
Our mission is to create a strong, healthy, and prosperous environment in which Lakota children and their families can learn and incorporate the Lakota language into their daily lives.
Our vision is that one day Lakota children and their families will feel safe and comfortable in using the Lakota language as their primary language at home and in the community.
Our goal is to revitalize the Lakota language by creating new generations of Lakota speakers.
