The Great Turning

We are the ones we have been waiting for.

This group exists to bring together people inspired by the writings of David Korten (The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community), Joanna Macy (Coming Back to Life: The Work That Reconnects) and Brian McLaren (Everything Must Change). About  [Edit]

EarthLight is the site to visit if you are concerned about the fate of the planet, and have a sense that, at its root, this is a profoundly spiritual issue. With lively articles from a wide spectrum of thinkers in touch with the cutting edges of ecological consciousness, and links to like-minded individuals and organizations, EarthLight is an efficient way to keep one`s thinking co-evolving with the best ideas of our time.

For more than 15 years EarthLight was the publisher of EarthLight Magazine: The Journal of Ecological & Spiritual Living -  ecumenical and spiritually inclusive in content and published by an independent non-profit organization with links to its Quaker heritage. It was first published in 1988 by the Pacific Yearly Meeting Committee on Unity with Nature [now known as Quaker Earthcare Witness].
