About [Edit]
EOGEO exists to deliver sustainable Earth Observation and Geospatial Information and Communication Technologies (EOGEO ICTs) that are vital to the operation of Civil Society Organizations[1] and to the well being of individual citizens.
Our goal is to relieve individuals and organizations from the complexities involved in creating, accessing, managing, and delivering EOGEO ICTs by providing a combination of data, tools, and services.
Our Mission
To provide rapid access to geospatial data content, tools, and services for NGOs, aid agencies, charities, and individuals via the internet and electronic media.
Our Focus
We focus on standards based technologies and services that can be widely deployed and replicated, thereby fostering the development of interoperating communities.
We collaborate strongly with developers of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and with local, national, and international data and service providers.
