SpaceShare coordinates "green travel" for large events.  We orchestrate carpooling, room-sharing, flight-connections, taxi-sharing, activist-connections, neighborhood-building and other ways that attendees can connect to save resources and build community.  Today, we focus on festivals and conferences in North America.  Since our tools benefit the event as well as the planet, we can work with conferences of all types, introducing people of all walks of life to practical, positive environmentalism.  We’re not just preaching to the choir.  

We replace cars with community, helping people rely on and strengthen their community in order to walk more lightly on the earth.  We are dreaming - and planning - big: carpool systems for every church and house of worship in the US and Canada, developing the habit of ridesharing among students at colleges, combining GPS with trust networks, and making it much easier for people to thrive without owning an automobile. We are ready to grow fast, looking for more hearts, hands and minds to become SpaceShare’s community.  Encourage events you attend to offer green travel, or participate in our community.  Be the change!
