Founded in 1977, A Territory Resource [ATR] is a membership-based, progressive foundation dedicated to addressing the root causes of social and environmental inequities, rather than trying to alleviate the effects of these problems.
Over the years, ATR has supported a host of groups working for causes such as improving healthcare, protecting the environment, eliminating homelessness, and improving the quality of life for all
What is ATR?
*ATR is timely support each year for more than 100 non-profit organizations, across five states.
*ATR is 500+ donor members and friends from many different communities and walks of life, who all share the vision of creating a Pacific Northwest with vibrant, healthy, powerful and diverse communities. In addition to these members, hundreds people more contribute as friends.
*ATR is a staff of four and many volunteers devoted to changing the world through activist philanthropy.
*ATR is about half a million in grants given each year to organizations selected through an extensive, thoughtful process.
