About [Edit]
The Mission of the organization is to work towards:
"To educate and implement ways all citizens can be better stewards of our watersheds". Partners of Scott County Watersheds is to develop and implement ways all citizens can be better stewards of our watersheds.
Partners of Scott County Watersheds is a collaboration of Scott County citizens who are concerned about our watersheds. We consist of Farmers, Property owners, Educators, Homeowners, Developers, Organizations (Ikes, Farm Bureau, Scott County Homebuilders), Government Organizations, Elected Officials, and City and County staff. We believe Scott County is a single, diverse community that both individual citizens and governing bodies have critical, distinctive roles in protecting and enhancing Scott County's watersheds.
Our watersheds are sensitive ecosystems that are the historic home of a rich variety of flora and fauna functioning together in a complex and healthy system that knows no political boundaries.
