A leading labor NGO, named after a famous labor leader jailed by the military in the 1970s. Works on a variety of issues including worker health and safety and is a good point of contact for other grassroots labor groups in Thailand, including the Om Noi-Om Yai group of unions and the Network Assembly of Sick Persons from Work and Environment of Thailand. Dr. Voravidh is an economist at Chulalongkorn University as well as director of the Political Economy Center and works on a wide-range of NGO and labor issues.
