Eyes Wide Open Exhibit-Baltimore:
Eyes Wide Open, the American Friends Service Committee’s widely acclaimed exhibition and memorial to the lives lost in the Iraq war and occupation is coming to Baltimore on September 9, 10, 11 after a national tour of 60 cities. The exhibit is witness to our belief that no war can justify its human cost. The Baltimore location is pending.
Baltimore Programs
AFSC/Baltimore Urban Peace Movement:
The program has a multi-facet approach to violence in our local community as well as making connections to national and international violence. It is the goal of our program to promote a nonviolent Baltimore. We organize and train people in nonviolence, community organizing, leadership development and on issues of economic justice in order to end gun violence and create a culture of peace.
