About  [Edit]

Our greater Seattle IONS Community Group is a community initiative with shared leadership coordinated by Susan Burns. Our group is several years in the growing. We facilitate various community events with a range of activities and venues. Our principal mission is to facilitate personal and collective transformation through collectively nurturing a noetic learning community in alignment with the mission of IONS to catalyze a shift in consciousness.

Our local community explores the frontiers of consciousness, builds bridges between science and spirit, seeks to understand the basis of prevailing worldviews, inquires into personal and collective wisdom, and learns from a co-created conscious field. We are grounded in the value of intentional thought, and create opportunities to engage in personal transformation beginning with local community, as we bring ourselves into a global collective.

We have regular events, community dialogues, and special events as well as promoting IONS sponsored events and local sponsorships. We enjoy a Seattle community that is intimately networked with transformational and social change groups. Please visit our events page.

We are a learning community. Every month our community group consistently offers a 2nd Monday meeting dedicated to community building through various forms of dialogue and exploration of the field of consciousness. We also offer a 2nd Thursday "Circles For Health" meeting which provides a space to learn and explore with topics and presenters on Integral Health and Healing. On the 4th Monday of each month, we offer presentations on a variety of noetic topics. We also present variable meeting venues, on a variety of topics, in a variety of formats.
