About  [Edit]

Donors Forum of South Florida is a nonprofit regional membership association comprised of private and public funders that support nonprofits. Our members include private foundations, corporate giving programs, public foundations, and government and quasi-government agencies. We are the central voice and information source for philanthropy and nonprofit funding in South Florida. We exist to help grantmakers and funders maximize the effectiveness of their funding through professional development and training, networking, advocacy, sharing of best practices and collaboration.

The Donors Forum is a regional association of over 100 grantmakers formed to assist foundations and corporations active in grantmaking in South Florida. It offers professional support to grantmakers and general information about philanthropy to the public.

The mission of The Donors Forum is to expand philanthropic resources and impact the quality of philanthropy; to create a spirit of communication and cooperation among foundations, corporations, individuals, and their advisors; and to enhance the ability of members to fulfill their charitable goals or purposes in their work with non-profits and others.
