Moral Economy Project Symposium and Outreach

Social and economic life of the people will improve through broad accomplishment of this program and the organization (SAIBAAN) will emerge as a useful partner in urban and rural areas of the country supporting peoples efforts for living better. With effective efforts for eradication of poverty, unawareness, inability, deprivation and respect to the values of society, no discrimination, preservation of cultural and historical heritage, protecting the environment with strong believe in quality work, honesty, accountability and transparency satisfaction of society and partners/supporters will be achieved and trust will be built with them. We will do all our best to permanently maintain this ideal situation. With volunteerism, team wok obedience to law and regulations, respect to majority's verdict, participatory decision-making, organizations ability in playing an active and constructive role throughout the country will increase.

Back in 1999, Saibaan was established by some young professionals. It was registered under the Socitoes Act of 1860 in Pakistan. We work through communities with special focus tio gender.\Currentlt Saibaan is implementing projects funded by Oxfam Novib, Oxfam Germany, Oxfam Canada, Oxfam US, Care International Pakistan, CRS, ILO, UNFPA, TVO, JBIC, IOM, WFP and Actionaid etc in different districts of NWFP in Pakistan. Our main thematice areas are lovelihoods, Health and Education with special focus to gender, whil;e DRR, Gender empowerment and right based advocacy is the cross cutting in Saibaan.
