About [Edit]
We are a non-profit family foundation dedicated to the exploration of human potential and the advancement of sustainable living, always seeking to advance children, the arts, and the environment.
The Tommy E. Short Charitable Foundation provides support and resources for future-focused organizations that promote understanding, sustainability, love, promise, and growth.
We are striving to create a new model of giving, in which we act as a key player to facilitate the success of other non-profit organizations whose missions align with the goals of the Foundation. The Tommy E. Short Charitable Foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals; rather, the Foundation pro-actively engages and collaborates with like-minded organizations and individuals.
The TOMMY E. SHORT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION identifies like-minded organizations which are doing work that is effective and exciting. The Foundation collaborates with these organizations, continually researching and designing new practices in giving to promote financial sustainability and facilitate organizational growth.
