About  [Edit]

NC Peace & Justice is a statewide network of nonprofit, community and activist organizations with diverse focuses in faith-based, labor, student, civil liberties, anti-racist, environmental, LGBTQ, peace, social justice, and other progressive concerns. We hold regular gatherings in cities across North Carolina to plan collective action, campaigns, and projects ranging from marches, rallies, publications and conferences. We formed in 2002 in opposition to the impendnig war on Iraq, and work closely with United for Peace and Justice to bring the troops home and affect justice at home and abroad.
