About [Edit]
The Angelica Foundation is a small, California-based private family foundation that supports progressive activist organizations working for democratic change, environmental sustainability, and social justice. Since our inception in 1994, we have focused our efforts in the United States (specifically California and New Mexico), Mexico, and Central America.
North American grants are directed to:
• Organizations that defend the environment and its resources from the destructive practices of powerful corporate and multi-national interests.
• Groups advocating for more effective, humane, and economically sensible laws and social policies as alternatives to the unjust, corrupting, expensive and counterproductive U.S. War on Drugs.
