CNCV, Calne Nature Conservation Volunteers was established in January 1990 to undertake practical conservation work to enhance and enrich green areas in and around Calne. In the large amount of documents that form the 'history' of CNCV, the earliest document that relates to the forming and area of coverage of CNCV dates back to 23rd June 1988.
