About [Edit]
The Community Foundation of Calhoun County is a permanent philanthropic resource dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Calhoun County, Alabama.
The Community Foundation of Calhoun County (CFCC) is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit trust recognized by the Alabama attorney general and the Internal Revenue Service. With its creation in 1999, the Foundation joined more than 650 community foundations across the nation formed as early as 1914.
Like other community foundations, the CFCC is one foundation with many charitable component funds that serve the residents of Calhoun County and also provides philanthropic services throughout northeast Alabama.
Using a broad range of charitable fund options and deferred giving vehicles, donors and their professional advisors can more easily achieve their long-term objectives. In addition, donors benefit from the growing assets of the CFCC resulting in reduced investment and administrative fees yielding a greater benefit to the community.
The flexible structure of a community foundation, combined with the most favorable tax deductions, makes CFCC a sound charitable resource for individuals, families, civic groups, associations, nonprofit organizations, religious institutions and corporations.
